Activity 7 – Transformation
Today we are announcing the last activity of the project, we really hope you have enjoyed it so far. This week’s activity is to design flowers and plants to show the landscape transforming as the Landfolk and Merfolk work together to reduce climate change and pollution.
What is your favourite flower? Does a specific plant remind you of a special memory or person? You could design something from your memory or create something new from your imagination.
Get creative with different medias, you could try a colouring, collage, a painting, something digital, or even photography. What is your favourite artistic medium?
To be in with a chance of having your plants and flowers featured in the Thurrock Island storybook please scan or photograph your artwork and either upload a JPEG or PNG image of your artwork to the Thurrock Island Facebook group or email them to email@example.com
We are looking forward to seeing what you create.
Please share your artworks on social media using #ThurrockIsland
Don’t worry if you have missed one of the activity weeks or you are joining the project late, Cece Luna will be accepting entries for all the activities until 31st August 2020. Click here to find a catalogue of all the Thurrock Island weekly activities.
We are excited to see what you create and to begin collating the artworks together to create the Thurrock Island storybook and gallery as a thank you to you for participating this summer, which will be unveiled at Thurrock Festival Digital on 19th September 2020.
